Sunday 24th May was a smashing day out for Graham Clark, as he etched himself into Durham’s history books.

The Cleator Moor clatterer sent almost every ball into the stands against Leicestershire, as he smashed an 18-ball half-century, the fastest ever by a Durham batter.

Eclipsing the 19-ball efforts of Scott Steel and John Hastings, Clark handed Durham a second win of the T20 Blast, which kept their unbeaten 2026 record in tact before Yorkshire rolled into town on Friday.
