Since clamours for him to take the gloves in the England Test side last year, Ollie Robinson has struggled to make scores that we'd come to expect from him during his first season-and-a-half at the club.

However, there were glimpses of a return to his best as he smashed a 79-ball 100 at South North during the Metro Bank One Day Cup opener against Sussex.

Robinson, who has 544 First Class runs at an average of 34 this season, looked good from ball one and he thinks that the change of format has helped him rediscover some form.

"It's nice to have the change of format, something to get your teeth into and there's not as much pressure as a T20 batting in this format, you can let there be a few dots," the Durham wicketkeeper said.
