James Minto says he feels ‘prepared and ready’ to contribute to Durham’s promotion push this season after an excellent Under-19s World Cup with England.

The 18-year-old enjoyed a brilliant campaign, picking up eight scalps at an average of 25 as he helped his side reach the final, ultimately falling short by 100 runs in the final against India.

However, the left-arm pace bowler believes he can use that experience to his advantage in a Durham shirt this season.
