After their pre-season tour to the UAE was cancelled, Durham's bowlers have headed to Spain for a training camp.

Eight bowlers departed to Desert Springs in Almeria on Saturday for a camp, with lead bowling coach Graham Onions taking charge of the trip.

Director of Cricket, Marcus North said: “We’re pleased to confirm that our bowlers will take part in a six-day training camp at Desert Springs later this week.

“We explored alternative options for the full squad to tour to maximise the remainder of pre-season, but with a number of counties in a similar situation we were unfortunately unable to arrange another full tour at this stage.
