Marcus North’s eight years as Durham’s Director of Cricket will be remembered as a period of transition, development and continued competitiveness for the county.

His tenure has come to an end, as he has taken on the role of National Selector with England, after Luke Wright left his role earlier this year.

Since arriving in 2018, the former Australia international has overseen significant changes both on and off the field, helping guide Durham through rebuilding phases while continuing to establish the club as one of the strongest cricketing environments on the county circuit.
