Ben McKinney’s 244 against Gloucestershire has unsurprisingly put him in the headlines.

Not just with the achievement of becoming Durham’s youngest ever double centurion, it’s also well and truly put him in the frame for an England spot, which is something that's followed him around over the past year.

“To be fair I didn’t think much of it, but that’s just me. That’s the way I like to go about my business,” the left-handed opener admitted to The Chester prior to the opening game against Kent.
